We want to make sure to communicate what to expect when partnering with Custom Lawn Care!
Signing Up For Services
Our trained Lawn Care Professionals will help customize a
Lawn Care Program to help achieve the vibrant green lawn you’ve always dreamed of! They can help you understand the benefits of each of our program options and will share their extensive knowledge and experience in the lawn care industry. Once your lawn care program has been scheduled, you can expect to receive:
Confirmation Letter
You will receive a letter of confirmation in the mail with a list of services that you have scheduled and their prices. Once scheduled, your services will auto-renew each season unless you choose to alter or cancel your chosen lawn care program.
Prepay Offer
Your confirmation letter will include an offer to prepay for your services to save additional dollars on your service.
Additional Services Offer
There will also be an opportunity to add on other beneficial services that we offer, with additional savings on those services.
Pre-Season Signups
Pre-Season signups take place between November and March and are typically when we offer our best deals on services for the upcoming season. When signing up for services during the pre-season, you can expect:
First Treatment
The first treatment of the season is the Early Spring Crabgrass Control & Fertilizer and generally begins any time in March, once the snow is gone and the ground temperature is above 32 degrees.
Treatment Timing
All Crabgrass Control treatments are generally completed within 7 weeks of our start date. All other treatments generally follow every 4—7 weeks. By law, we are required to leave a “notification flag” after each treatment to the most common entry point to your property, typically the driveway.
Continuing Service
If you are not scheduled for all 7 offered turf treatments, there will be a longer lapse between treatments, and greater potential for weed invasion and insect damage. To allow for consistent results, your lawn care program will continue from season to season unless you choose to alter or cancel your chosen lawn care program.
Mid-Season Signups
Mid-Season signups take place between March and November. When signing up for services during the mid-season, you can expect:
First Treatment
We strive to have every new client’s first treatment completed within 5 working days of signing up for service mid-season.
Treatment Timing
All remaining treatments will follow every 4—7 weeks after the first treatment. Your program for the next season will include the treatments that were not completed in the current year, due to the late start with our service.
Continuing Service
If you are not scheduled for all 7 offered turf treatments, there will be a longer lapse between treatments, and greater potential for weed invasion and insect damage. To allow for consistent results, your lawn care program will continue from season to season unless you choose to alter or cancel your chosen lawn care program.
Continued Follow Up
Our Support Staff will contact you periodically throughout the season to inquire how things are going. It is important to us that you are getting the results we BOTH expect from our lawn care program. We rely on open communication from you so that we can partner together in creating a vibrant, green lawn. If there are any concerns about your services or the health of your lawn, let us know as soon as possible so that we can work together to address the issue. We encourage you to provide us with your valid email address. Part of our communication includes sending an After Service Email with details and recommendations about the condition of your lawn. Here’s what you can count on from Custom Lawn Care’s follow-up process:
Lawn Conditions
We’ll make you aware of any concerns that your Professional Technician may have noticed at the time of treatment, so that we can work together to achieve your lawn care goals.
Technical Telephone Support
We encourage you to contact our experienced Technical Telephone Support as soon as possible if you have any concerns about the health or appearance of your lawn. Most problems can be handled over the phone with our year round support at
Service Calls
When you express a concern that we cannot correct via our technical telephone support, we will send a team member to your property within 3 business days to find a solution. Service calls are generally free of charge for any customers signed up for 5 or more treatments.
End of Season & Off Season
Custom Lawn Care follows a Continuing Service policy that allows for the consistency required when following a lawn care program. At the end of the season, your services will automatically carry over into the next year unless you choose to alter or cancel your chosen lawn care program. At the end of your treatment season you can expect:
Confirmation Letter
At the end of each Treatment Season, you will receive a confirmation letter from us for the next season, confirming your currently scheduled Lawn Care Program that will be carried over into the next season.
Prepayment Offers
You will be offered the BEST deal of the year through discounts given if you choose to prepay for the next season’s services. Prepayment is not required, but services will be carried over regardless if you choose to prepay.
Off-Season Communication
We do not telephone active clients during the off season. Our only communication with active clients during the off season is via U.S.P.S. mail or email.
Custom Personalized Lawn Care Terms of Service
AUTO-RENEWAL
All services auto-renew each season to ensure the effectiveness of our seasonal turf treatments, and to maintain the integrity of a timely treatment schedule. Services can be altered or cancelled at any time, but you will be responsible for payment of any services performed prior to notifying us.
SAVINGS OFFERS
All special offers and discounts applied to an account are valid for the current season only and will not carry over into the next year of services. If services are canceled before all treatments have been completed, any applied savings offers will be removed and added to your ending balance.
LATE CHARGES
A late charge of $4.90 will be applied to any account with a balance that is 30 days past due. Any balances due after 90 days risk being forwarded to a national collection agency or small claims court for further action. View full terms of service for more details.
